I was drinking this drug Normodyne 100 mg at time.
It did not work at all for me! My blood pressure was still high. 161/91. So my doctor changed drug. I am drinking TOPROL XL 100 mg now and my blood pressure is 122/78. I am feeling much better! |

I was taking it 2 times per day, but I had to eliminate dose in the morning - because it pushed my blood pressure to a level that made me very dizzy.

It does work on my BP so my doctor refuses to take me off this drug.
Last Doctor I had refused too, but his not understand how horrible it makes me feel. So I guess since it lowered my blood pressure I am forced to give it a 3. Extreme tiredness, coughing, dry throat, stomach upset and frequently causing vomiting even with food or milk - it was my side effects with that drug |

It was extreme fatigue!! always exhausted. I gained more than 30 lbs. because i never had energy to go to the gym and do my exercises. It lowered my blood pressure, but side effects are definitely NOT worth it.
My dr. WOULD NOT take me off this drug - so I found another doctor! |
